The tendency and Russian bride "fashion" fades away with the time though.
The figures of the last decade show that American embassy registers fewer Russian women applying
for the fiance (K1, K2) visa to the US. 1945 fiance visas were issued in 2006,
1575 visas - in 2007 and a bit more then 1200 in 2008.

Fitness training. Sports appear not to be the top favorite Russian women activity as a stress relief.
However since
doing sport is becoming more fashionable in Russian now, more women go in for shaping,
working out
in a gym as well as take dance classes, horse riding, aqua aerobics,
Pilates, paintball.
For many it appears to be a regular relaxing activity and a hobby as well as real spiritual retreat.
